The law requires that once a child is on the school’s register, they should be sent to school every day that it is open. Taking a family holiday during term time should only be done in EXCEPTIONAL circumstances.

We do ask that you consider the issue carefully before taking your children out of school, particularly in years two and six, when the National Curriculum Assessments Tasks are undertaken.
