Safeguarding Statement

Safeguarding is the process of protecting children from abuse or neglect, preventing impairment of their health and development, and ensuring they are growing up in circumstances consistent with the provision of safe and effective care and enables them to have optimum life chances and enter adulthood successfully. The Governing Body and staff of Lindal and Marton Primary School take seriously our responsibilities to safeguard our pupils. We will provide an ethos and environment that will encourage children to talk openly enabling them to feel confident that they are being listened to. We aim to provide an environment within our school that ensures children feel safe, secure and respected at all times.
