About Us

Blencathra Class is our mixed Year 1 and Year 2 group, named after one of the Lake District’s most striking peaks. Much like the many paths that lead up Blencathra, the children approach their learning with enthusiasm, determination and a genuine willingness to give things a go. They play brilliantly together, supporting one another and showing real pride in their work and behaviour. They enjoy using their iPads to explore new ideas and practise key skills, and they are always keen to impress with the effort they put into their work. Blencathra is a class that climbs steadily and confidently, step by step.
